Deleting your Seayora account
You can close your Seayora account from inside the app or the website at any time, without contacting us. This page explains what is erased, which records we are legally required to keep and why, and how long it takes.
How to delete your account
- Sign in, then open Settings, then Account, then Delete my account — the same place in the web app, the iPhone app and the Android app
- The account is closed after a 7-day waiting period, and you can cancel from any device during it
- If you can no longer sign in, email [email protected] from the address on the account
What we keep, and why
- Signed leases, because the other party still holds the contract
- Payments that settled, because they support a filed tax return
- Security deposit statements, tenant screening decisions and compliance filings, each under its own statute
- Your address on the do-not-contact list, so you are never emailed again
