Promo Codes & Account Credit

How to redeem a Seayora promo code, what each kind gives, and how discounts and account credit come off Seayora’s fees — including the platform fee on rent, which raises your payout.

A promo code from Seayora takes something off what Seayora charges you. It never changes the rent a tenant owes.

Redeeming a code

Open Offers & rewards — on the website, the iPhone or the Android app — type the code under Promo code and choose Apply. The confirmation says exactly what the code gave your account. Codes are not case sensitive, and each can be redeemed once per account.

What a code can give

  • A percentage off one of Seayora’s fees — listing advertising, a Seayora Storage plan, or the platform fee on rent payments — for a set number of charges, sometimes within a set number of days.
  • A fixed amount off each of a set number of those charges. It never takes a charge below zero.
  • Account credit, spent automatically on your next Seayora fees.
  • For service pros, a lower processing rate for a set number of transactions.

When it comes off

Automatically, at the moment Seayora charges you. The largest discount you hold for that fee comes off first, then any credit. If a discount or credit covers the whole charge, nothing is sent to your card at all.

On a rent payment, the discount lowers Seayora’s platform fee — so the amount paid out to you goes up by the same amount, and the rent payment shows the fee before and after. It is applied the first time that rent payment is charged and stays with it through any retry.

If a charge does not go through

When Seayora gives up on a charge — a declined listing bill, or a Storage charge that ran out of retries — the discount and the credit it used are returned to your account, and the credit history shows the return as its own line.

Seeing what is left

Under Promo code, each discount you hold says how many charges it has left, until when, and how much it has saved you so far. Finished codes are listed beneath. Your credit balance and every credit line are on the same screen.

Frequently asked questions

Can a tenant use a promo code on rent?

No. Promo codes come off Seayora’s own fees. Rent is owed to the landlord, and no code changes it.

Why was my code refused?

The message says why: the code may have ended, reached its limit, already been redeemed on your account, or be for a different type of account.

Does credit expire?

Account credit from a code stays on your account until it is spent on Seayora fees. It has no cash value and cannot be transferred.
