Promoted & Featured Placement
How listing ranking, featured placement, and promotion work on Seayora — and what is and isn’t guaranteed.
Seayora organizes and ranks listings to help renters find relevant homes and to help your listing get seen.
How ranking works
Search ordering considers relevance, recency, completeness, and other signals. Complete, accurate, well-photographed, and up-to-date listings generally perform better than sparse or stale ones.
Featured and promoted listings
Where offered, promoted or featured placements can increase a listing’s visibility. Placement, visibility, impressions, leads, and results are never guaranteed, and Seayora may adjust ranking and placement at its discretion. See the advertising section of the Terms of Service.
Improving organic ranking without paying
The cheapest way to rank well is a complete, accurate, freshly updated listing with several clear photos. Respond to inquiries quickly, keep availability current, and avoid letting a listing go stale — engagement and freshness both factor into how listings surface.
Measuring what placement is doing
Use listing analytics to see views and inquiries over time, and compare a promoted period against a normal one before deciding whether to continue. See listing analytics for the specific metrics available.
Frequently asked questions
Can I pay to promote just one listing?
Where promoted placement is offered, you choose which listing to promote and for how long — you’re never required to promote every listing in your portfolio.
Does promotion guarantee I’ll rent faster?
No. Promotion increases visibility, but the listing still has to convert that visibility into applications — price, photos, and an accurate description still do most of the work.
Is promotion a one-time purchase or a subscription?
This depends on how promotion is currently offered — check the promotion flow in the product for the specific terms and duration at the time you use it.
Can I stop a promotion early?
In most cases yes, though you typically won’t be refunded for the unused portion — check the terms shown when you start a promotion.
