Fair Housing at Seayora

Seayora is committed to fair housing and equal treatment for all renters and applicants, in line with the Fair Housing Act. Housing providers using Seayora are expected to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local fair housing laws.

Under the Fair Housing Act, it is illegal to

  • Refuse to rent or sell housing, or refuse to negotiate for housing
  • Make housing unavailable or otherwise deny a dwelling
  • Set different terms, conditions, or privileges for the sale or rental of a dwelling
  • Provide a person different housing services or facilities
  • Falsely deny that housing is available for inspection, sale, or rental
  • Make, print, or publish any statement, advertisement, or notice that indicates a preference, limitation, or discrimination
  • For profit, persuade owners to sell or rent (blockbusting), or deny anyone access to or membership in a facility or service related to the sale or rental of housing
  • Threaten, coerce, intimidate, or interfere with anyone exercising a fair housing right or assisting others who exercise that right
