Tool settings: every tool’s settings in one place
Where to find the settings of every Seayora tool — holding deposits, payment plans, evictions, projects, on call, resident surveys, commissions and more — in one list under Settings, on the website, the iPhone and Android.
Most tools in Seayora have a few settings of their own — how long a home is held for an applicant, who is paged for an emergency, what a resident is asked after a repair. Each tool keeps them on its own screen, and Settings → Tool settings gathers all of them in one place, so you do not have to remember which page a switch lives on.
Open Tool settings
- On the website: Settings → Tool settings.
- On the iPhone or Android: Settings → Work → Tool settings.
- Pick a tool to open its settings. They are the same settings as on the tool’s own screen: saving in either place changes the one setting.
What is in it
Only what your account can change is listed. A tool your account does not use, one switched off for your account, or one your role on a team cannot change is left out.

Lease signing moved here
Signing settings used to have a Leasing group of their own in Settings. They are now under Tool settings with everything else, and an old link to them still opens the same settings.
The Lease Center’s tabs are grouped
The Lease Center on the website had fifteen tabs in one row. They are eight groups now — Leases, Renewals, Pricing, Specials & concessions, Deposits & move-in, Applicants, Insurance, and Templates & signing — and a group with more than one part shows its parts in a second row. Every tab is still there, and links to a tab still open it.
