Keep the safety record you are required to keep
Safety recordkeeping is an obligation most small contractors handle in a binder nobody updates. Keeping incidents, certifications and employee documents in the same system as the jobs makes the record a byproduct of the work rather than a separate chore.
Safety and compliance tracking
- Incident records with a case number, filed from the site by whoever was there
- Employee document storage and tracking
- Certification and license expiry alerts before they lapse
- A required-documents list your business sets, graded against what is actually on file
- Workers-compensation records
- Team background checks
- Geofenced clock-in, mapped, so site presence is on the record
Certification alerts prevent the expensive surprise
A lapsed license discovered on the day of an inspection is a stopped job. Expiry alerts surface renewals in advance, while there is still time to act.
A record, not a determination
Seayora stores what happened and warns you before a document lapses. It does not decide what any safety standard requires of you, does not classify an injury as recordable, does not produce an OSHA 300 or 300A, and does not file or transmit anything to any agency. What applies to your business, your trade and your jurisdiction is a question for you and whoever advises you on it.
Frequently asked questions
Does Seayora file safety paperwork for me?
No, and it does not decide what you owe. Seayora keeps the records and the documents alongside your job data; determining and meeting your obligations remains yours.
Is there an OSHA 300 log?
No. It was removed in August 2026. It was built from Seayora’s own reading of the facts entered, and a regulatory determination nobody here signs does not belong on your screen.
Will I be warned before a certification expires?
Yes. Certification and license expiry alerts surface renewals in advance.
