Booking a Call About Custom Pricing

How to book a 30-minute video call with Seayora about pricing for a larger portfolio, what happens in the meeting room, how it reaches your calendar, and how to move or cancel it.

The rates on the pricing page are the published list. If your portfolio does not fit that shape — a different rate at volume, a flat fee per payment, a cap, a fixed term — you can book 30 minutes with us straight from that page. You do not need a Seayora account, and the call happens in your browser: no download, no plugin, no third-party meeting service.

Booking

  • Open Pricing and choose “Book a 30-minute call”.
  • Pick a day and a time. Times are shown in your own time zone, and only slots that are genuinely free are offered.
  • Tell us your name and work email, and as much about the portfolio as you want us to come prepared for.
  • You get an email with everything you entered and the link to join. We get the same details, so nobody spends the first ten minutes on introductions.

Joining the call

The room opens 15 minutes before the start time and stays open for 30 minutes after the scheduled end. Open the link, check your camera and microphone, type the name you want shown, and join. You will wait briefly in a lobby — nobody can see or hear you until the host lets you in.

Before you join

There is a setup check at seayora.com/meet/check that tests your camera, microphone, speakers and network, and it is linked from every email we send you about the call. The one worth running is the connection test: office and hotel networks often block the direct route between two browsers, which nothing else on your computer will tell you about. It takes a minute, nothing is recorded, and nothing leaves your browser.

In the meeting

  • Mute and unmute, turn your camera on and off, and share your screen. When anyone shares, the layout moves the shared screen to the large tile by itself.
  • Three layouts: everyone the same size, whoever is talking large, or one large with the rest in a strip. Your choice is remembered for next time.
  • Pin anyone to the large tile. Pinning is just for you — it does not change anyone else’s screen.
  • React with an emoji, raise your hand, and chat in the side panel with everyone in the room.
  • Live captions: your browser transcribes your own microphone and sends the words to the room. Chrome and Edge only, off until you turn it on, and nothing is stored.
  • Switch microphone or camera mid-call without dropping the connection, mirror your own video, or take your own tile off your screen.
  • Picture in picture keeps the call on top while you work in another window.
  • Each tile shows the other person’s connection quality, so a bad line is obvious rather than mysterious.
  • Keyboard shortcuts: M to mute, V for camera, C for chat, P for people, H to raise your hand.
  • Only the host can end the meeting for everybody. Closing your own tab just leaves.

Recording

Either side can record. If anyone starts, a banner appears for everybody in the room naming who started it — there is no silent recording. The recording is made in the recorder’s own browser and offered to them as a file to download when the call ends. Seayora does not upload it, store it, or keep a copy.

Your calendar

The confirmation email carries a calendar invitation, so the call lands in Outlook, Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or anything else that reads a standard invite — with the join link on the entry itself. There is an “Add to calendar” button on the confirmation screen too, for when you book on one machine and keep your calendar on another. Anything that happens afterwards — a move, a cancellation — updates that same entry rather than adding a second one.

Reminders

We send a reminder before the call, typically the day before and again an hour ahead. Only the closest one still due is sent, so booking a call for this afternoon does not fill your inbox. Reminders go to the address you booked with.

Changing or cancelling

  • Open the same link from your invitation. If the room has not opened yet, that page is where you move the call, cancel it, or add it to your calendar.
  • Moving keeps the same join link and updates the entry already in your calendar — there is nothing to accept and no duplicate to delete.
  • Very close to the start, moving online closes — reply to your confirmation email instead and we will sort it out.
  • Cancelling emails both sides and releases the time for somebody else.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know my camera and microphone will work?

Open seayora.com/meet/check — it is linked from every email about the call. It tests your camera, microphone, speakers, screen sharing and, most usefully, whether your network lets the call through at all. Everything runs in your own browser and nothing is recorded.

Are the captions private?

They are off unless you turn them on. When you do, your own browser transcribes your own microphone and only the words are sent to the room — in Chrome and Edge that recognition is done by the browser vendor’s own service. We never receive the audio and we do not store the captions.

Do I need an account to join?

No. The link in your invitation is all you need. You will be asked for a display name so the other people in the room know who they are talking to.

Which time zone is the calendar in?

Yours. Slots are shown in your browser’s own zone, and your confirmation email is written in the same zone you booked in.

What if nobody lets me in?

You stay in the lobby and the page moves on its own the moment the host admits you. If it is well past the start time, reply to your invitation email.

Is the call recorded by default?

No. Nothing is recorded unless somebody presses record, and when they do, everybody in the room is told.

Where does the video go?

Directly between the people on the call wherever the network allows. When it does not, it goes through Seayora’s own relay server. We do not record or store the audio or video.

Will it be in my calendar?

Yes. The confirmation email carries a standard calendar invitation with the join link on the entry, and there is an “Add to calendar” button on the confirmation screen. If the time later moves, the same entry moves with it.

Can I move the call instead of cancelling?

Usually, yes — open your invitation link before the room opens and choose “Move it”. Your join link does not change. Very close to the start that option closes, and replying to the confirmation email is the way.

Nothing is available in the calendar — what now?

Either we are fully booked or we have paused bookings. The page shows an email link in that case; write to us and we will find a time.
