Are the numbers in the widget picker real?

The picture your phone shows while you are choosing uses your own latest numbers when the app has already fetched them, and clearly-labeled example figures otherwise — before you have signed in, for instance. The in-app gallery says which of the two you are looking at on every card.

From the guide Home Screen Widgets (iOS & Android).

Adding a widget

  • In the app, open Tools → Widgets (also under Settings). Every widget is drawn as a picture of the card itself — with your own numbers in it where we already have them, and example figures (clearly labeled as examples) where we do not.
  • Android: tap Add on any widget and your launcher asks where to put it. A few launchers do not support that; on those the button is not shown, and you long-press an empty part of the home screen, choose Widgets and pick Seayora.
  • iPhone: long-press an empty part of the Home Screen, tap the + button, search for Seayora, choose a size and tap Add Widget. For the Lock Screen, long-press the Lock Screen, tap Customize, then tap the area under the clock and pick Seayora.
  • Both phones show a picture of each widget in the picker before you place it, so you are choosing between cards rather than between names.
  • Most widgets come in small, medium and large. The bigger the widget, the more it shows — a small card is the headline number, a medium one adds the figures beside it and a row, and a large one adds more rows.
