We report to the big three

Not all reporting services are created equal — some only report to one bureau. Seayora reports your trade line to Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion.

What rent reporting can do for you

  • Establish credit history from scratch
  • Improve an existing low score
  • Qualify for better mortgage rates later
  • Lower your auto insurance premiums

Frequently asked questions

Which credit bureaus do you report to?

We currently report to all three major consumer credit bureaus: Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. This ensures maximum visibility and impact for your credit score.

How long does it take for my rent payments to show up on my credit report?

Rent payments are batched and reported on the 15th of every month. It typically takes 30–45 days from your first reported payment for the trade line to appear on your credit profile.

What happens if I pay rent late?

If you are opted into rent reporting, both positive and negative payment history is reported. A payment is typically considered late for credit reporting purposes if it is more than 30 days past the due date. Consistent on-time payments are crucial.

Can I opt out of credit reporting?

Yes. Unless your landlord has mandated it as a condition of your lease, rent reporting is generally an opt-in service for tenants. You can toggle your reporting status from your Tenant Settings dashboard at any time.
