When exactly is rent charged with autopay?
On the lease’s due date, or up to a week before it if the tenant chose that under When to pay in AutoPay settings. AutoPay never changes the due date itself.

AutoPay settings
Under Settings → Payment methods, AutoPay settings apply to every month from now on (in the apps, open Payment methods and choose AutoPay settings):
- Pay rent automatically — switch it off and nothing is collected automatically; you pay each month yourself.
- When to pay — on the due date, or up to a week before it.
- Try again automatically if a payment fails.
- Remind me — on the due date, or up to a week before it.
