What payment methods can tenants use?
Bank transfer (ACH), credit card and debit card. A bank transfer is free to the tenant. A credit card adds a 3% card fee to the payment, quoted in full before the tenant picks it, and a debit card carries no fee. Where state law prohibits card surcharges (Connecticut, Massachusetts and Maine, among others), the card option is not offered and rent is paid from a bank account.
