Suggestions from an Inspection’s Photos
Let Seayora read the photos and walkthrough video on a condition report and suggest a condition for each item they show — you accept or dismiss every suggestion before the report can be completed.
Filling in a move-in or move-out report item by item takes a long time. If you have already taken the photos — or filmed a walkthrough of the unit — Seayora can read them against the report’s own checklist and suggest a condition and a short note for each item they clearly show. You stay the one who decides: nothing is added to the report until you accept it.
How to use it
- Open the inspection and add its rooms and items (a template does this for you), then add photos — to an item, or to the report in general — or upload a walkthrough video.
- Press Suggest from photos. It works on the website, the iPhone and Android.
- Seayora reads up to 40 photos at a time. From a video it takes up to 16 evenly spaced still frames and reads those.
- When it is done, each suggestion shows the photo, the item, the suggested condition and a short note. Change the condition or the note if you see it differently, then press Accept — or Dismiss.
What it will and will not do
- It only uses the items on your report. It cannot add, rename or remove an item, and it never marks an item “not applicable”.
- It describes only what is visible. It never guesses a cause, who did it, when it happened, or what it would cost, and it ignores people, pets and belongings.
- A photo you filed under an item is read against that item only.
- Accepting adds your note to the end of the item’s notes — it never replaces what is already there — and files the photo under the item as its evidence.
- A frame from a video that showed nothing on the checklist is deleted straight away, and a frame whose suggestion you dismiss is deleted too. Your own photos are never deleted.
- There is no “accept all”. Each finding should be a decision about a photo you looked at. Dismiss all is offered, because it adds nothing.
The report waits for you
A report cannot be completed while any suggestion is still waiting. Accept or dismiss each one first. The finished report — and the copy your tenant signs — contains only what you accepted, in your words.
Who sees it
Suggestions are shown to the owner, their property manager and the inspector they assigned. A tenant carrying out their own inspection never sees them, and they are not part of the report, its PDF or what the tenant signs.
If it cannot run
- It needs an AI engine that can read images. If none is configured, the panel says so instead of offering the button.
- Reading frames from a video needs the server’s video tools; if they are not available, the video is left unread and the panel only counts your photos.
- If the AI engine stops answering part-way, everything already read is kept and you can start it again to read the rest.
Your privacy
The photos and frames are sent from Seayora’s servers to the AI engine Seayora uses, only when you press Suggest from photos, to produce the suggestions. They are never used to identify anybody. Seayora keeps each suggestion with what you decided, when, and who decided it.
