How long does a chargeback take to resolve?
It depends on the card network and issuing bank, and can take several weeks. You’ll typically be notified of the outcome once the process concludes.

A question before a chargeback
American Express and Discover sometimes ask about a payment before opening a chargeback. Seayora shows this as a question from the bank: no money has moved, and a complete answer now usually ends it there. If it becomes a chargeback, the money is put on hold and you are told again.
