Appearance: Light & Dark, Text Size, Font, Contrast and Motion
Make Seayora look the way you want — follow your device or pick light or dark, and choose the text size, the font, stronger contrast and reduced motion. Saved to your account, so every device follows.
Settings → Appearance is where you decide how Seayora looks. It is on the website and in both apps, and every choice except light or dark on a phone is saved to your account — so a text size you pick on your phone is the size seayora.com opens with.
The choices
| Setting | Choices | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Theme | System · Light · Dark | System follows your device, including an automatic switch at sunset. The public website stays light; your account screens follow this. |
| Text size | Small · Default · Large · Extra large | Scales the text on every screen. Your device’s own text size still applies on top. |
| Font | Seayora · Device font · Serif | Seayora’s own typeface, your device’s system font, or a serif that some people find easier for reading. |
| Contrast | Standard · More contrast | More contrast darkens secondary text and strengthens borders and dividers. |
| Motion | Follow device · Reduce motion | Reduce turns off movement and animation everywhere, whatever your device is set to. |
Where the choices apply
- Text size, contrast and motion apply everywhere you are signed in, the public pages included — they are about reading comfortably.
- The font applies to your account screens; the public marketing pages keep Seayora’s own type.
- On the iPhone, a new text size, font or contrast is applied when you leave the Appearance screen.
- Your device’s own accessibility settings — larger text, bold text, reduce motion — keep working alongside these.
Frequently asked questions
Why does my laptop use the text size I picked on my phone?
Appearance choices are saved to your account rather than to one device, so every device you sign in on follows them. The light or dark theme on a phone is the one exception — it is a setting for that handset.
Will reducing motion stop notifications or sounds?
No. It only stops animation and movement on screen.
