The lease bills the resident the whole rent. Is that a problem?

If the agency pays part of that rent, the resident is being billed the agency’s share as well. Seayora shows a warning with the three numbers and does not change anything; if the resident’s portion is what they owe you, change the rent in the lease terms.

What Seayora does not do

  • It does not collect anything from the agency, file anything with it, or move any of this money. The agency still pays you exactly as it does today.
  • It does not change the lease. If the lease bills the resident the whole contract rent while the agency pays part of it, Seayora shows a warning naming the three numbers. Changing what the resident is billed is done in the lease terms, where the change is recorded and the resident is told.
  • It does not send a penalty claim for you. It drafts the letter; you review it and send it yourself.
