Take rental applications online — and screen them in the same flow

Stop collecting PDFs over email. Applicants apply online from your listing, their information lands in a structured pipeline, and screening runs from the same record — with the applicant paying the screening fee directly, so it costs you nothing.

The application pipeline

  • A public listing page that accepts applications directly
  • Structured applications — no re-keying from PDFs or email
  • One pipeline showing every applicant and their current stage
  • One-click FCRA-compliant screening from the applicant record
  • Applicants pay the screening fee, so there is no cost to you
  • Approve an applicant and generate their lease from the same record
  • Adverse-action support when you decline an applicant

How an application becomes a lease

Approving an applicant carries their details into a digital lease, which is sent for legally binding eSignature and stored automatically. The executed lease then drives rent collection, autopay, credit reporting, and the accounting ledger. One record from first inquiry to year-end books.

Fair housing by default

Applications are structured and consistent, which is exactly what fair housing compliance requires: every applicant answers the same questions and is evaluated against the same criteria. Screening results are handled under the FCRA, including the adverse-action notices required when you decline.

Frequently asked questions

Who pays for the application and screening?

The applicant pays the screening fee directly to Seayora when they apply, so screening is free for the landlord.

Can I see all applicants for a unit in one place?

Yes. Every applicant for a listing appears in a single pipeline with their stage, so you can compare candidates instead of digging through an inbox.

What do I have to do if I decline an applicant?

When a decision is based in whole or in part on a consumer report, the FCRA requires an adverse-action notice. Seayora supports that flow so you can decline compliantly.
