The third-party services Seayora connects to — payment processing, identity verification, mapping, SSO, screening, bank feeds — and how their terms apply.
Seayora integrates with trusted third parties to deliver certain features. Each is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.
Key integrations
- Our payment processor — payment processing, payouts and merchant underwriting (with Persona for identity verification of payout accounts).
- Didit — identity verification for rental applicants, outside lease signers and, where switched on, a support agent’s identity check and a self-guided viewing’s visitor. The check runs in a window embedded in Seayora; your ID images and selfie go to Didit and never to Seayora, and it involves a scan of facial geometry. Seayora receives the result only. Frequently asked questions
Why does Seayora use a payment processor instead of processing payments itself?
Payment processing requires significant regulatory compliance (like PCI-DSS). Partnering with an established, PCI-compliant processor means your payment data is handled to industry standards without Seayora storing full card numbers.
Why are there two identity-verification providers?
They verify different people at different moments. Persona is the payment processor’s own vendor and verifies the person opening a payout account, as part of merchant underwriting — that runs on the processor’s hosted page. Didit verifies a rental applicant or an outside lease signer, in a window embedded in Seayora, before an application is submitted or a lease is signed. Neither one’s result is shared with the other, and in both cases the documents go to the provider rather than to Seayora.
Can I use my own payment processor?
This depends on how payments are configured for your account type — check payment settings or contact support for the current options available to you.
What mapping provider does Seayora use?
Listing maps and search rely on a third-party mapping and location provider, similar to how most consumer apps embed maps — see the Privacy Policy for how location data is handled.
